Removing Pressure Pipes

Information

When removing and installing the pressure pipes, it is advisable to turn the wheels in so that you have easier access to the pipe connections.

Disconnect tension locks -A and B- on the pressure pipes on the turbocharger and charge-air cooler at both sides and remove pressure pipes.

Tension locks on pressure pipe (shown on right in direction of travel)
Lower the vehicle.
Remove air boxes on both sides.
Remove screws on the hose clamps at the air cleaner housing -A- and intake manifold -B- .

Pull off and remove air boxes on the air cleaner housing and intake manifold.

Remove upper pressure pipes
Remove screws on the hose clamps at the throttle valve air box -A- at both sides.

Remove tension locks on the charge-air cooler -B- on both sides.

Remove pressure pipes.
