Removing Rear Anti-Roll Bar

WARNING: Caustic fluids
  • Danger of chemical burns

→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

NOTE: Aggressive fluids
  • Risk of damage to components and surfaces

→ Do not spill fluids.

→ In the event of contact, wash the component or surface with water.

→ Replace components that are already damaged.

Information 

PDCC chassis:

  1. Screw off suspension/stabilizer -1-  .

    1. 1.1. Screw off fastening nut -2-  .
    2. 1.2. Counter ball pin using cone wrench Nr.200  .
    3. 1.3. Press suspension/stabilizer -1-  outwards and remove it.
  2. Perform the process in the same way on the opposite side.
  3. Mark the installation position -arrow-  of the anti-roll-bar mount halves with respect to the anti-roll bar with a touch-up stick.

  4. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .
  5. Remove anti-roll-bar mount -2-  .

  6. Perform the process in the same way on the opposite side.
  7. Disconnect the compressor.
    1. 7.1. Screw on fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 7.2. Tilt compressor -2-  downwards and secure it with a tie-wrap to prevent it from falling.

  8. Secure steel flexi-pipes on the anti-roll bar with a tie-wrap.
  9. Pull anti-roll bar -1-  to the right and out. When doing so, pay particular attention to the steel flexi-pipes that are still connected.
