Removing Steering Column Casing

Adjust steering wheel to lower position.
Unclip upper part of casing.
1. 2.1. Turn steering wheel in such a way that the openings on the front are accessible.
2. 2.2. Unclip upper part of casing -1- through the openings on the front -2- using a suitable screwdriver.

Unhook dust boot -1- on upper part of casing -2- and push it back.

Remove upper part of casing.
Release lower part of casing.
1. 5.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- in lower part of casing -2- . (For electric steering-wheel adjustment only)

2. 5.2. Turn the steering wheel in such a way that the fastening screws -1- on the front are accessible.
3. 5.3. Unscrew fastening screws -1- on lower part of casing -2- .
Fold lower part of casing -2- down out of the way -arrows- .

Release and disconnect plug connection -1- . (For electric steering-wheel adjustment only) .
Remove lower part of casing -2- .
