Installing Spray Nozzle For Headlight Cleaning System

Information

If the lifting cylinder was dropped or the spring-loaded, extended headlight washer system was released abruptly while removing and installing the spray nozzle, the component must be replaced with a new one.

Insert lifting cylinder -1- in an upward direction and clip it into the retaining frame.

Slide hose onto the spray nozzle and clip it in.

Clip hose into the lifting cylinder bracket.
Clip cap for front apron onto the nozzle head (individual part).
Push spray nozzle and cap -1- into the lifting cylinder from above -A- until the cap is flush with the front apron.

Check that the cap is fitted correctly in the hole on the front apron. If the cap is not fitted securely enough, the nozzle head can be pressed in slightly. One detent = 1.25 mm.
