Installing Intake Manifold

NOTE:
  • The pictures shown in this document may differ from the original. 
  1. Secure the intake manifold at the turbocharger and tighten the screw-type clamp. Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.) 
  2. Connect the vacuum hose to the intake manifold.
  3. Fit intake manifold -1-  on the air cleaner housing in -direction of arrow-  .

    NOTE:
    • Loosen and secure fastening bolts only in the specified direction 
    • Turn fastening bolts by max. 90°, otherwise the guide lugs will break off. 
    • Replace damaged fastening bolts.

  4. Secure fastening bolts.
    1. 4.1. Position fastening bolts -1-  in the air cleaner housing and turn by 90° in -direction of arrow-  . Torque angle 90°

  5. Install air cleaner housing cover -1-  and tighten fastening screws -2-  . Tightening torque 3.5 Nm (2.5 ftlb.)
