Removing C-Pillar Reinforcement

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1. 1.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill; see Gr. 2.4; Workshop Equipment Manual Nr.129  .

Information 

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

1. 2.1. Mark and make cuts. → Distance: 100 mm

Mark cut Y in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.
