Removing Cover For Front Seat

On vehicles with heated seats: Disconnect connector for seat heating.

Disconnecting connector for seat heating
1. 1.1. Release electric plug connection for seat heating -1- (-arrows a- ) and disconnect it -arrow A- .
2. 1.2. Release electric plug connection for seat heating for seat-surface extension -2- (-arrows b- ) and disconnect it -arrow B- .
Remove fixing clip -1- .

Detaching rear cover
Disengage the cover at the sides -2- (-arrow A- ).
Unscrew fastening screws -3- and pull the bracket -4- down out of the catches -arrow B- .

Loosening bracket at the sides
Disengage the cover at the sides -arrows C- .

Disengaging cover at the sides
Disengage the cover at the front -arrows D- .

Disengaging cover at the front
On vehicles with seat-surface extension: Disengage the cover on the seat-surface extension -arrows E- .
Press in expansion rivet pin -5- and pull out the expansion rivet.

Detaching cover at the sides
Disengage the cover at the rear -arrow F- .
Disengage the cover at the sides -arrow G- .
Disengage the cover at the rear -arrows H- .

Disengaging cover at the rear
Pull the cover forward between the padding for the seat and backrest -arrows I- .

Pulling cover forward
On vehicles with seat-surface extension: Disengage seat extension straps at both sides.

Disengaging straps on seat-surface extension
1. 13.1. Lift up padding for rear seat.
2. 13.2. Push back the bar -1- on the cover -arrow A- .
3. 13.3. Disengage strap for seat-surface extension -2- and guide it through in a downward direction -arrow B- .
Remove seat cover together with the padding from the seat frame.
