Installing Cover For Front Seat

Fit seat cover with padding on the seat frame.
On vehicles with seat-surface extension: Engage seat extension straps at both sides.

Engaging straps for seat-surface extension
1. 2.1. Lift up padding for rear seat.
2. 2.2. Guide seat-surface extension strap -2- through from top to bottom -arrow A- and slide it onto the bar -arrow B- .
3. 2.3. Slide the bar -1- through the seat-surface extension strap -2- and the tab on the cover -3-.
Pull the cover back between the padding for the seat and backrest -arrows C- .

Attach the cover at the rear -arrows D- .

Attach the cover at the rear -arrow E- .

Securing cover at the sides
Attach the cover at the sides -arrows F- .
Fit expansion rivet -4- .
Information

Fixing clips on the seat frame will be damaged irreparably during removal. Replace expansion rivets and fixing clips during installation and do not re-use them.
Attach the cover at the front -arrows G- .

On vehicles with seat-surface extension: Attach the cover on the seat-surface extension -arrows H- .
Attach the cover at the sides -arrows I- .

Engage the bracket -6- from below -arrow J- .

Securing bracket at the sides
Tighten fastening screws -5- (Tightening torque 7.5 Nm (5.5 ftlb.) +/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.) ).
Fit fixing clip -7- .
Information

Fixing clips on the seat frame will be damaged irreparably during removal. Replace expansion rivets and fixing clips during installation and do not re-use them.

Securing cover at the rear
Attach cover at the rear -8- (-arrow K- ).
On vehicles with heated seats: Plug in connector for seat heating.

15.1. Plug in electric plug connection for seat heating -1- (-arrow A- ) until the connector engages securely.
15.2. Plug in electric plug connection for seat heating for seat-surface extension -2- (-arrow B- ) until the connector engages securely.
