Removing C-Pillar Reinforcement

Remove C-pillar reinforcement.
Information

Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.
1. 1.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill; .

Remove side panel section -1- .
Information

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.
1. 2.1. Mark and make cuts. → Distance: 100 mm

  Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.
2. 2.2. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill; .

Heat bonding areas.
1. 3.1. Remove side panel -1- section.

  Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

  Mark cut Y in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.
Mark and make cuts. → Distance: 90 mm
