Removing A-Pillar Reinforcement

Remove side member closing element.
Information

Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.
1. 1.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill .
2. 1.2. Grind down welded seams -arrows- .

  Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.
Mark and make a rough cut -arrows- .

Remove remaining piece.
1. 6.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill .
2. 6.2. Remove remaining piece of A-pillar reinforcement -1- in a downward direction -arrows- .
