Preparing Centre Side Member For Installation

Information 

Adhesive must not be applied to areas to be plug-welded or fully welded using inert gas.

1. Fit in centre side member.
   1. 1.1. Cut centre side member at the transitions to the body leaving an overlap of 30 mm.

2. Fit in centre side member again.
   1. 2.1. Make cuts through the centre side member and body in the overlap areas.
3. Prepare centre side member for bonding and welding.

   Green	Resistance spot-welding + bonding
   Blue	Bonding
   Red	Resistance spot-welding/apply a full weld using inert gas without bonding
