Preparing Connection Areas Of The Body

  1. Align the sealing surface and connections of the body.
  2. De-burr connection points and prepare them for welding.

    Information 

    • Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
    • The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
    • Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 
  3. Prepare the marked areas for welding.

  4. Fit in new front side member (section) and secure it.
    1. Take measurement -X- from the new part and mark it on the longitudinal member.
    2. Cut the longitudinal member -arrows-.
    3. Area -A- indicates the overlap area from the longitudinal member to the section of the longitudinal member.
