Preliminary Work For Front Right Spring Strut (Air Springs)

Remove the relevant side engine compartment trim.

Bleed the spring strut.
To bleed the levelling system (compressed air must be released from the system), use the Porsche System Tester. To do this, select the Bleed levelling system menu item in the levelling system.

Remove drive shaft.
> 404119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DRIVE SHAFT
If installed:
Remove torque support.

> 103719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TORQUE SUPPORT
On vehicles with petrol engine:
Unclip bleeder valve -1- at the coolant reservoir.

Unclipping wire harness at right of engine compartment
On vehicles with petrol engine:
Unclip plug connections -2, 3- from the holders at the cross panel.
On vehicles with diesel engine:
Loosen fuel filter and set it aside with lines connected.

On vehicles with diesel engine:
Remove fuel filter holders -1, 5- .

Fuel filter holder
1. 8.1 Unclip electric plug connection -4- .
2. 8.2 Unscrew nuts -2- .
3. 8.3 Unscrew fastening screw -3- .
4. 8.4 Lift bracket -1- up and remove it.
5. 8.5 Unscrew nuts -6- .
6. 8.6 Lift bracket -5- up and remove it.
