Preliminary Work For Front Left Spring Strut (Air Springs)

1. Remove the relevant side engine compartment trim.

   > WM 700219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL (ENGINE COMPARTMENT) (CAYENNE, CAYENNE GTS, CAYENNE TURBO S, CAYENNE S, CAYENNE S E-HYBRID, CAYENNE TURBO, CAYENNE S DIESEL, CAYENNE (3.0))

2. Bleed the spring strut.

   To bleed the levelling system (compressed air must be released from the system), use the Porsche System Tester. To do this, select the Bleed levelling system menu item in the levelling system.

   > 4301IN BLEEDING AND FILLING THE LEVELLING SYSTEM 

3. Remove drive shaft.

   > 404119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DRIVE SHAFT

4. On vehicles with PDCC:

   Loosen PDCC reservoir at the fastening nut and set it aside.

   > 430955 REPLACING RESERVOIR (PDCC) 

5. Loosen and remove holder for PDCC reservoir at the threaded joints -1, 2-  at the left of the engine compartment.
