Installing Rear Level Sensor

  1. Plug in electric connector -bottom arrow-  on the level sensor -top arrow-  until the connector engages securely.

    Information 

    • In running gear with level adjustment, a level sensor is installed on each spring strut. 
    • The level sensor is screwed to the chassis subframe and front upper wishbone. 
    • Make sure that the level sensor is fitted with the swivel range of the lever towards the outside of the vehicle. 
  2. Tighten fastening screws -3-  (> Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.7 ftlb.)  ).

  3. Engage level sensor lever and position the level sensor.
  4. Fit fastening nut -2-  , counter with an open-ended wrench on the two flats -1-  and tighten the nut > Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)  .

If a new level sensor is installed, then the levelling system control unit must be calibrated.
