Installing Hydraulic Pump (PDCC)

Information 

• The reservoir must always be replaced if individual or multiple components, such as the hydraulic pump (tandem hydraulic pump), steering, PDCC valve blocks (FA/RA), PDCC anti-roll bars (FA/RA), are replaced. 
• The hydraulic system must be bled after repair work is carried out. The vehicle must be lowered onto the wheels for this.

• Only use Pentosin CHF 11S to fill the hydraulic system. 
• Check the hydraulic fluid level. 
• Replace sealing rings. 
• Observe specified tightening torques.

• Make sure not to damage the cooling fin. 

1. Carefully fit the hydraulic pump from the side.
2. Carefully fit the three fastening screws -2-  at the front and the fastening screw -3-  at the side of the hydraulic pump and then tighten all screws to the specified tightening torque. > Tightening torque 23 (17 ftlb.) Nm

3. Fit the pressure and intake lines on the hydraulic pump. Insert the intake lines into the hydraulic pump, position the holder -6-  and screw in the fastening nut -5-  .

4. Secure the air-conditioning compressor.

5. Fit the support for the hydraulic line to the air-conditioning compressor.
6. Fit the lower left pressure hose. > Fitting lower pressure hose

7. Position the pulley and screw in fastening screws -1-  .
8. Fit drive belt.

   > 137819 Removing and installing drive belt - section on "INSTALLING "

9. Tighten fastening screws -1-  used to secure the pulley to the hydraulic pump to the specified torque. > Tightening torque 25 (19 ftlb.) Nm

10. Clip the water hose into the bracket.
11. Clip in the positive crankcase ventilation line -3-  on the left, beside the throttle valve, underneath the engine cover (design cover).
