Information
- During assembly work on hydraulic connections, the electric plug connections on the hydraulic unit must always be connected. This prevents the plug connections on the hydraulic unit or in the connector inside from being splashed with brake fluid or water.
- Damp connectors must be wiped dry before disconnection.
- Brake fluid on electrical contacts (even thinned brake fluid) causes corrosion and can result in faults in the system.
Information
- Close off the brake lines using suitable stoppers.
- Place a cloth under the brake booster to soak up emerging brake fluid.
