Adjusting Multi-Functional Switch

Overview of multi-functional switch

Move selector lever to position N.
Remove heat shield on the transmission. To do this, unscrew three fastening screws -arrow- .

Heat shield to right side of transmission
Disconnect cable on multi-functional switch.
Remove cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch.

Loosen fastening screws -arrow- .

Fastening screws for multi-functional switch
Push special tool > T10173 - setting gauge onto the shaft and secure it to the shaft with a screw -arrow- .

Adjusting tool on multi-functional switch
Screw in fastening screws -arrow- and remove special tool. > Tightening torque 5 (3.5 ftlb.) Nm

Fastening screws for multi-functional switch
Install cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch.
Tighten nut.

> Tightening torque 7 (5 ftlb.) Nm

Tighten cap nut.

> Tightening torque 15 (11 ftlb.) Nm

Assembling multi-functional switch
Connect compact connector to multi-functional switch.
Install heat shield on the transmission. To do this, screw in three fastening screws -arrow- .
> Tightening torque 10 (7.5 ftlb.) Nm
