Removing Engine Cover (Design Cover)

Information

For easier access to components, use the tool > 9824 - flexible-head socket wrench together with > 9824/2 - Torx Micro Bit if necessary.

Engine design cover

1	Design cover for cylinder bank 1 to 4
2	Design cover for cylinder bank 5 to 8
3	Screw for securing design cover to bar ignition module
4	Mounting points (ball joints)

Remove fastening screws for the engine cover at the bar ignition modules -3- .
Lift up the torque support on the valve cover. Pull engine cover upwards and off the mounting points.
Remove design cover on throttle valve.
1. 3.1 Pull cover off the throttle valve > Design cover on throttle valve .
