Removing Air Box For Throttle Housing (Intake Pipes Upstream Of Throttle Valve)

Loosen screw-type clamp on the throttle housing. Disconnect cable plug of mass air flow meter. -arrows-

Intake pipe
Turn both fastening bolts on the air cleaner housing from the initial mark to the removal mark. > Fastening bolts

Fastening bolts
Pull out both fastening bolts with pointed-nose pliers. Pull intake pipe out of air cleaner housing by joggling it. > Pulling out fastening bolts

Carefully raise intake pipe and pull off cable for mass air flow meter on the intake pipe underneath the intake pipe. > Cable on intake pipe
