Programming/Teaching Roof Assembly (Panorama Roof) End Position
Information
The end positions are lost and must be re-taught in the following situations:
- After disconnecting or connecting the vehicle battery
- When the vehicle battery is completely flat or after jump-lead starting
- After emergency operation
- After changing the electric fuse
- After replacing the glass panel, motor, powered sunroof mechanism or sun blind
NOTE:
Electrically moved components
- Risk of damage to components
→ Move objects out of the range of movement.
The force limiter is not available when storing the end position so that the roof will close with full force.
- Start the engine.
Information
When storing the end positions, always save the settings for the panorama roof and sun blind fully one after the other. If one of the processes is interrupted, it is not possible to start the process for the other drive mechanism.
- Press the actuating button forward towards Close and keep it pressed until the roof/sun blind stops moving. The process for storing the end position will start after approx. 10 seconds.
The process takes up to 45 seconds for the panorama roof/sun blind.
If you release the actuating button before the roof/sun blind has stopped moving, the process for storing the end position must be repeated.
- Check the roof fully to ensure that it operates correctly.
