Removing Cover For Front Backrest

1. Slide clothes hook -1-  up and remove it -arrow-  .

2. Slide backrest cover -1-  on the backrest shell -2-  at the bottom left and right into the middle (-arrows-  ) and detach it.

3. Press cover piping -1-  out of the backrest frame all the way around using a plastic wedge -3-  at the clips -2-  (-arrows-  ).

4. Remove front side airbag.

5. Loosen backrest cover -1-  slightly at the side airbag frame -2-  using a plastic wedge -3-  and pull it out by hand out the way around.

   Information 

   Replace collar if the locking lugs break off during removal. The release lever can be re-used.

6. Loosen backrest cover at the backrest adjustment control button frame at the left and right -arrows-  and pull it out.

7. Press out backrest cover -1-  at the cushion carrier -2-  at the left and right using a plastic wedge -3-  at the bottom -arrow A-  .
8. Pull backrest cover -1-  out of the rear cushion carrier -2-  by hand all the way around -arrows B-.  To do this, carefully lever out the piping at the bottom connection using a plastic wedge -3-  .

9. Remove backrest cover -1-  (- arrows-).
