Removing Generator

- Pull insulating cap -1-
on the B+ connection forward -arrow-
. Loosen fastening nut -2-
for B+ line on the generator.

- Loosen fastening screws -1-
on the generator.

- 2.1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-
.
- 2.2. Set down ground strap -2-
.
- Remove the generator and then pull it forward.
- Unscrew fastening screw for B+ line on the generator.
- 4.1. Remove B+ line from the generator.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connection on the generator.
- Remove the generator from the vehicle.
- 6.1. Protect the radiator and cylinder head from damage by covering them with a suitable cover.
- 6.2. Move the generator forward and lift it up out of the vehicle.
