Removing Generator

  1. Pull insulating cap -1-  on the B+  connection forward -arrow-  . Loosen fastening nut -2-  for B+ line on the generator.

  2. Loosen fastening screws -1-  on the generator.
    1. 2.1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 2.2. Set down ground strap -2-  .

  3. Remove the generator and then pull it forward.
  4. Unscrew fastening screw for B+ line on the generator.
    1. 4.1. Remove B+ line from the generator.
  5. Release and disconnect electric plug connection on the generator.
  6. Remove the generator from the vehicle.
    1. 6.1. Protect the radiator and cylinder head from damage by covering them with a suitable cover. 
    2. 6.2. Move the generator forward and lift it up out of the vehicle.

  1. Pull insulating cap -1-  on the B+ connection forward -arrow-  . Loosen fastening nut -2-  for B+ line on the generator.

  2. Loosen fastening screws -1-  on the generator.
    1. 2.1. Unscrew and remove fastening screws -1-  .
    2. 2.2. Set down ground strap -2-  .

  3. Remove the generator and then pull it forward.
  4. Unscrew fastening screw for B+ line on the generator.
    1. 4.1. Remove B+ line from the generator.
  5. Release and disconnect electric plug connection on the generator.
  6. Remove the generator from the vehicle.
    1. 6.1. Protect the radiator and cylinder head from damage by covering them with a suitable cover. 
    2. 6.2. Move the generator forward and lift it up out of the vehicle.
