Subsequent Work

  1. Fit deflector rail.

    > 154719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING GUIDE AND TENSIONING RAILS 

  2. Install camshafts.

    > 150520 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CAMSHAFTS 

  3. Fit timing chain.

    > 153519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TIMING CHAINS 

  4. Fit timing-case cover.

    > 153319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TIMING-CASE COVER 

  5. Set the timing.

    > 150516 6 

  6. Fit the fuel distributor pipe.

    > 243019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL DISTRIBUTOR PIPE

  7. Fit intake-air distributor.

    > 244619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE-AIR DISTRIBUTOR

  8. Fit the turbocharger on V8 turbo engines.

    > 213019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TURBOCHARGER

  9. Take the engine from the assembly support and connect it to the transmission.

    > Refer to 343527 Removing and mounting transmission in the appropriate service information. 

    or

    > WM 373427 REMOVING AND MOUNTING PORSCHE DOPPELKUPPLUNG (PDK) (EXCEPT PANAMERA S E-HYBRID, PANAMERA S HYBRID, PANAMERA EXECUTIVE, PANAMERA GTS, PANAMERA TURBO S,)

  10. Install the engine.

    > 100119 REMOVING END INSTALLING ENGINE
