Installing Battery

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Insert and position the battery.
  2. Position the rail -6-  under the batter, and fit the retaining bar -4-  .

  3. Fit the four fastening screws -3 and 5-  and screw in by hand.
  4. Tighten the fastening screws -3-  . > Contact force 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  5. Tighten the fastening screws -5-  . > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) 
  6. Risk of short circuit! First connect the positive cable -2-  , then the negative cable -1-  .

  7. Tighten the terminal clamps. > Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)
