Securing Engine To Engine Crane

CAUTION: Heavy components
  • Risk of squashing

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Get someone to help if necessary.

WARNING: Danger of objects or loads falling down
  • Risk of squashing or crushing

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

Information 

Information 

  1. Remove design cover on engine if necessary.

    → 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) 

  2. Engage one hook of the lifting tackle 3033  in the rear transport eyebolt on the engine. Engage the other hook of the lifting tackle at the front of the engine. Raise the workshop crane slightly and tension the spindles slightly. The lifting tackle must be adjusted evenly.

  3. Carefully lift the engine and balance it or separate the engine from the transmission, depending on what you want to do.
