Subsequent Work

  1. Apply the basic setting for the brake shoes and calibrate the actuators for the electric parking brake. → 468316 ADJUSTING AND CALIBRATING PARKING-BRAKE SHOES
  2. Fit wheel. → 440519 REMOVING AND REINSTALLING WHEEL
  3. Tighten axle nut (drive shaft mounting on wheel side) (setting 2!). Operate the brake while doing this (2 mechanics required). Tightening torque 460 Nm (340 ftlb.) 
  4. Fill the air springs. → 4301IN BLEEDING AND FILLING THE LEVELLING SYSTEM
  5. Align the vehicle suspension → 449503 SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT, COMPLETE .
