Removing Front Anti-Roll Bar
WARNING:
Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly
- Risk of squashing
- Risk of damage to components
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
- Support anti-roll bar using a mounting jack.
- Place a suitable container underneath to catch any emerging Pentosin.
Information
PDCC chassis:
- Steel flexi-pipes are particularly sensitive to kinking and crushing.
- Treat the steel flexi-pipes with great care when removing, storing and reinstalling the anti-roll bar.
- Make sure that the steel flexi-pipes are not subject to any mechanical loads during the following operations.
- When removing, mark the installation position of the lines using a touch-up stick.
- When installing, make sure that the clamp is seated correctly.
- The steel flexi-pipes must not be twisted when installed under any circumstances.
- Disconnect lines -3-

- 3.1. Loosen cap screws -1- .
- 3.2. Unscrew clamp -2- .
- 3.3. Secure lines -3- to prevent them from falling down and close them off with suitable stoppers.
- 3.4. Remove lines -3- .
- Loosen fastening screw -1-
from the suspension/stabilizer on both sides of the vehicle.
Counter at the fastening nut -2- while doing this.
- Press suspension/stabilizer outwards.
- Remove anti-roll bar.
