Removing Roof

  1. Remove spotwelds.
    1. 1.1. Drill off spotwelds using a spotweld drill bit.

    2. 1.2. Mill off spotwelds on the inside using a spherical cutter.

  2. Drill off rivets.

  3. Grind down rivet nuts.

  4. Grind down welded seams.

  5. Heat up bonding areas.

  6. Remove the roof.
  7. Remove remaining pieces of rivets and rivet nuts.


  1. Remove spotwelds.
    1. 1.1. Drill off spotwelds using a spotweld drill bit.

    2. 1.2. Mill off spotwelds on the inside using a spherical cutter.

  2. Drill off rivets.

  3. Grind down rivet nuts.

  4. Grind down welded seams.

  5. Heat up bonding areas.

  6. Remove the roof.
  7. Remove remaining pieces of rivets and rivet nuts.
