Preparing Spring Strut Mount For Installation

Fit spring strut mount and secure in installation position with the straightening bracket.
Information

Do not drill a hole in the marked area.
1. 1.1. Drill holes for rivets through the existing holes → Diameter: 6.6 mm .

  Arrange bore holes as shown. The bores must be offset with respect to the original punch rivet positions. More rivets are set during installation than in the original setup.
2. 1.2. Drill new holes for rivets → Diameter: 6.6 mm .

Countersink bores for installing countersunk rivets Countersink Nr.202 .

De-burr bore holes on both sides.
Prepare connection areas for bonding.
