Removing Front Trim (Engine Compartment)

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.

1. Partially pull off the seal on the wing seam and plenum panel seam.
2. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  from upper trim panel.

3. Remove upper trim panel.
4. Loosen cover for front lock support at the side.
5. Unclip trim panel -1-  in an upwards direction and remove it.
