Removing Throttle Housing

  1. Intake module
  2. Decoupling module (fastening part); observe specified tightening sequence
  3. Screw, 5 x 16
  4. Pressure sensor
  5. Intake module seal; check that seal is aligned and fitted correctly! 
  6. Heat socket
  7. Screw, 6 x 50
  8. Electronic accelerator/throttle housing
  9. Seal
  10. Ball socket

  1. Intake module
  2. Decoupling module (fastening part); observe specified tightening sequence
  3. Screw, 5 x 16
  4. Pressure sensor
  5. Intake module seal; check that seal is aligned and fitted correctly! 
  6. Heat socket
  7. Screw, 6 x 50
  8. Electronic accelerator/throttle housing
  9. Seal
  10. Ball socket
  1. Disconnect cable plug on the throttle housing and pull cable out of the clip.
  2. Loosen the four screws on the throttle housing -arrows-  . Remove throttle housing.

  3. Check the condition of the sealing ring. Replace sealing ring if necessary → see Fig 4.
