Checking Oil For Final Drive

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Information 

• Secure vehicle to prevent it rolling away. 
• To check transmission oil the vehicle must be horizontal. 

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -1-  .

2. Check oil level in the final drive.
   1. 2.1. The oil level is specified in the table Oil adjustment specifications for front-axle final drive and rear axle differential  .
   2. 2.2. The oil level in the final drive can be measured using an angled piece of wire, for example.
3. Screw in oil inspection plug -1-  with a new sealing ring. Tightening torque 35 Nm
