Installing Rear Window Guide

Information 

• Do not clip in the clips on the new molding until you have finished all work in the door sub-frame area.

1. Position the new molding on the door sub-frame.
   1. 1.1. Guide rubber seal on molding into the B-pillar cover.
   2. 1.2. Make sure that the front edge of the molding is flush with the front edge of the B-pillar cover.

2. Secure the molding at the top with rivets using a hand riveting tool Nr.124-1 Pos.1  .

3. Secure the molding at the rear with rivets using a hand riveting tool Nr.124-1 Pos.1  .

4. Affix seal to the front edge of the B-pillar cover.

5. Pull new window guide into the B-pillar cover from below.

6. Pull window guide -3-  into the side window -4-  .

7. Fit the side window.
   1. 7.1. Lift up the molding -A-  .
   2. 7.2. Insert guide pin for side window -B-  .
   3. 7.3. Swivel in side window -C-  .

8. Press middle section of window guide into the molding -A-  .
   1. 8.1. Press middle section of window guide into the corners -B-  .
   2. 8.2. Make sure that the window guide is flush at both corners.

9. Loosely screw in fastening screws -2-  for the side window so that the side window can still be moved.

10. Adjust rear side window. → Adjusting Rear Side Window 
11. Clip in molding at the bottom.
