Installing Window Guide

Pull rear section of the new window guide into the B-pillar cover from below.

Fit middle section loosely in the molding.
Information

To position the window guide correctly during bonding, first install the corner window pane.

The door sub-frame and additional window frame seal are only installed after bonding the window guide.
- Install the corner window pane.
- Adjust the corner window pane.
Install the corner window pane. → Installing Front Corner Window Pane
Remove door window glass. → Removing Front Door Window
Bond middle section of window guide into the molding.
Information
- Immediately before sticking on, wash off the areas on which you intend to stick the seal using isopropanol to ensure that all traces of silicone, grease and oil are completely removed.
1. 5.1. Clean the bonding surface on the molding.
2. 5.2. Lengthen the protective paper on the adhesive strip in the front area using adhesive tape.
3. 5.3. Position the window guide at the top front corner and align it to the rear.
4. 5.4. Pull off extended protective paper and press the window guide into position.

5. 5.5. Press the window guide on in the top rear corner -A- .
6. 5.6. Press on window guide over the entire bonding surface -B- .

Install additional window frame seal. → 576655 REPLACING ADDITIONAL WINDOW FRAME SEAL
