Removing Cover For Rear Backrest: Notes

Turn the backrest around.
Detach cover completely using a plastic wedge.

Guide the cover through towards the front in the headrest area.

Detach cover around the lock.

Slide off cover over the headrest.

Remove cushion clips.
1. 6.1. For seats without air conditioning:
  1. 6.1.1. Cut the metal cushion clips -1- in the sequence shown -a to e- using side cutters.

  2. 6.1.2. Remove remaining parts of cushion clips.
2. 6.2. For seats with air conditioning:
  1. 6.2.1. Cut the metal cushion clips in the sequence shown -a to e- using side cutters.

  2. 6.2.2. Disengage plastic cushion clips -2- .
  3. 6.2.3. Remove remaining parts of cushion clips.
Fit electric line through the cover -arrow D- and disconnect electric plug connections.

Guide the cover through at the bearing pins and remove by pulling forward.
