Adjusting Striker Pin

Information 

• The striker pin can be adjusted by changing the plasticity of the adjusting element in the B-pillar. 
• The setting is retained when the striker pin is removed.

1. Loosen fastening screws -2-  .
2. Move striker pin outwards.
   1. 2.1. Move the striker pin -1-  outwards (if necessary) using a slide hammer kit Nr.168  .

3. Adjust the striker pin back/down/up (if necessary).
   1. 3.1. Move catch bar -1-  to the required position using a plastic hammer.
   2. 3.2. Close the door carefully and check the setting.

4. Screw in fastening screws -2-  and tighten to the specified tightening torque → Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)  .
