Removing A-Pillar Trim Panel

  1. Open cap -1-  on the A-pillar trim panel.
  2. Unscrew fastening screw -2-  .

  3. Unclip A-pillar trim panel close to the side hook -1-  (-arrow-  ).

  4. Loosen A-pillar trim panel.

    Information 

    To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

    1. 4.1. Loosen fixing clips -3-  .

    2. 4.2. Guide a plastic wedge into the joint between the A-pillar trim panel and front side panel trim.
    3. 4.3. Unclip A-pillar trim panel by turning the plastic wedge -A-  .
    4. 4.4. Remove A-pillar trim panel in an upward direction -B-  .
