Installing A-Pillar Trim Panel

Information 

Check that all fixing clips are positioned fully and correctly.

Check that the fixing clips are not bent or broken.

Replace damaged or missing clips with new ones.

1. Information 

   • The side hook  (-item 1-  ) in the new A-pillar trim can become damaged. 

   The A-pillar trim must be bent up close to the side hook (-item 1-  ) during fitting (-arrow-  ).

2. Guide A-pillar trim panel into the bracket -4-  for the front side panel trim until it engages securely.

3. Clip in A-pillar trim panel.
   1. 3.1. Fit fixing clips -3-  for the trim panel into the cut-out.
   2. 3.2. Clip in fixing clips -3-  .

4. Position pin on A-pillar trim panel -2-  in the bore on the holder -3-  .
5. Position side hook on A-pillar trim panel -1-  in the funnel on the holder -2-  .

6. Tighten fastening screw -2-  to the specified tightening torque Tightening torque 4.5 Nm  until secure.

7. Clip cap -2-  into place.
8. Press lightly on the A-pillar trim panel close to the side hook until the hook locks in the funnel on the holder with an audible click.
