Adjusting Height Of Front Lid

Check that the lower part of the lid lock is at the basic setting in accordance with → 551719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LOWER PART OF FRONT LID LOCK and correct it if necessary.
Remove cowl panel cover. → REMOVING COWL PANEL COVER
Loosen the fastening screws -3- so that the hinge can still be moved.

Close the front lid.
Adjust the height by moving the lid.
- Front apron to front lid (B1). Gap dimension 3.5 mm +/-0.5 mm
- Front apron to front lid (B2). Gap dimension -1 mm +/-0.5 mm
- Lid to wing (K1). Gap dimension 3.5 mm +/-0.8 mm
- Lid to wing (K2). Gap dimension -0.5 mm +/-0.5 mm

Close the front lid and check the setting. If the setting does not match the required values, the steps must be repeated.
Tighten fastening screws -3- to the specified tightening torque Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.) until secure.
