Installing Wiper Arm For Rear Window Washer

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Information 

The wiper arm must be moved to its end position (horizontal position) for installation. Required distance to edge of rear window is 41 mm +/- 3 mm

1. Fit the wiper arm on the wiper linkage.
2. Press the wiper arm lightly on the cone and fit the fastening nut -2-  .
3. Screw on fastening nut -2-  . → Tightening torque: 19 Nm (14 ftlb.) 
4. Press on the cap -1-  until it clicks into place.

5. Switch on ignition.
6. Actuate the wiper motor until it comes to a stop and then check the position of the wiper arm.
