Installing Wiper Linkage

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

1. Screw on wiper motor. → 921519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIPER MOTOR → Tightening torque: 12.5 Nm (9 ftlb.) 
2. Insert wiper linkage with wiper motor installed -B-  .

3. Move the wiper linkage so that the fastening clip on the body side is flush with the fastening bushing -C-  .
4. Plug in electric plug connection -1-  . Check that it is seated securely.

5. Tighten fastening nut -2-  . →→ Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 
6. Tighten fastening screws -1-  . → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 
   1. 6.1. Tighten the fastening screws from the outside in.

7. Actuate the wiper motor before installing the wiper arms in order to set the wiper linkage to the correct position.
