Subsequent Work

Information 

• The high-pressure connections do not have to be opened in order to bleed the system. The fuel system is bled automatically. 
• If there is still air in the fuel system, the engine can switch to emergency operation during the test drive. Switch off the engine and erase the fault memory. Then continue to test drive the vehicle. 

1. Bleed the fuel system and perform a leak test. → 200107 BLEEDING THE FUEL SYSTEM
   1. 1.1. Leave the engine running at idle speed for a few minutes without pressing the accelerator.
   2. 1.2. Switch off the engine and turn off the ignition.
   3. 1.3. Carefully check the entire high-pressure area of the injection system.
   4. 1.4. Then perform a test drive for more than 20 km (12 miles) with at least one full-throttle acceleration. Then check the high-pressure area for leaks again.
