Injectors - V6

Information 

Please observe the following for the V6 => 

• The repair concepts for the V6 are the same as for the V8  .
• The special features and component deviations are listed and shown in →  1001IN TIGHTENING TORQUES, TIGHTENING SEQUENCES AND ASSEMBLY OVERVIEWS  . 
• More significant deviations are shown in separate descriptions. 
• If no special features are specifically highlighted, the assembly and adjustment instructions for the V8 apply. 
• On the V6, the twin holder must be removed first so that the single holder with the fuel injector can be removed.
• Cylinder 1 must always be installed first with one single holder (as for cylinder 6).
• The holders are not interchangeable.
• The twin holders are identical to the twin holders used on the V8.

1. Twin holder (retainer for two injectors) => for cylinders 2 to 3 and 4 to 5
2. Screw, M8 x 30
3. Single holder (retainer for one injector) => for cylinders 1 and 6
4. Injector (high-pressure fuel injector)
