Preliminary Work

Information 

The cooling system has two additional coolant pumps. The procedure for removing and installing the two additional coolant pumps is described below.

1. Remove engine cover. → 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER)
2. Disconnect the battery. → 270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY
3. Install throttle valve cover.
   1. 3.1. Loosen hose clamp -1-  on the connection for the air-cleaner cowl and pull off throttle valve cover.
   2. 3.2. Loosen hose clamp -2-  on the throttle valve and pull off throttle valve cover.
   3. 3.3. Pull off vacuum hose -3-  at the throttle valve cover and unclip tank vent line -4-  and XY line -5-  .
   4. 3.4. Pull throttle valve cover up and off.
