Installing Fuel Low-Pressure Sensor

  1. Visually check the thread and sealing ball to make sure they are not damaged.
  2. It must be possible to screw the pressure sensor in easily by hand. Lightly lubricate the pressure sensor with engine oil.
  3. Screw on the pressure sensor using a long socket or a similar tool (a/f 24 mm). → Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 ftlb.) 
  4. Connect plug connection for the pressure sensor.
  5. Check the pressure system for leaks. Following a test drive, visually inspect the pressure sensor at idle speed using a mirror and lamp.
