Preliminary Work

  1. Remove engine cover (design cover). → REMOVING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER)
  2. Remove design cover at the right for cylinders 1 to 3 (3.6 l V6 naturally aspirated engine only). → REMOVING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER)
  3. Remove intake pipe at the throttle housing. → REMOVING AIR BOX FOR THROTTLE HOUSING (Y-SHAPED PIPE AHEAD OF THROTTLE VALVE)
  4. Remove intake-air distributor (3.0 l V6 turbo engine only). → REMOVING INTAKE-AIR DISTRIBUTOR
