Bleeding The Fuel System In The Low-Pressure Area

  1. Allow the engine to run at idle speed for a few minutes without pressing the accelerator and then switch off the engine.

    Information 

    The fuel system is bled automatically.

  2. Check the entire fuel system for leaks.

    If there are leaks in the system, replace the relevant component.

  3. Then perform a test drive with at least one full-throttle acceleration and check the high-pressure area for leaks again.

    Information 

    If there is still air in the fuel system, the engine can switch to emergency operation during the test drive. Switch off the engine and erase the fault memory. Then continue to test drive the vehicle.
