Removing Coolant Reservoir

  1. Remove connections and reservoir screws.

    1. 1.1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for the water level sensor -1-  .
    2. 1.2. Remove coolant hose -4-  .
      WARNING: Hot fluid
      • Danger of scalding

      → Avoid contact with hot fluid.

      → Wear personal protective gear.

      Information 

      After pulling off the hoses, close off all openings immediately using commercially available rubber stoppers.

      When fitting parts, do not remove stoppers until shortly before installation.

    3. 1.3. Release and pull off vent line -3-  .
    4. 1.4. Remove fastening screw -2-  .
  2. Pull reservoir forward out of the guide and remove it in a downward direction -direction of arrow-  .
